Kempsey Basketball Association follows the rules and charters set out in its Constitution dated []. A review of the constitution, and all current policies, procedures and other frameworks will be undertaken at the end of 2023 and following review and approval by the KBA Board, will be adopted and all members advised following that adoption.

The Association also adopts all policies and procedures mandated by Basketball NSW and Basketball Australia.
